- applies to all events / gatherings of 25 persons or more
- There is a transitional period of 4 weeks until December 6, 2021: access is also allowed in this period until further notice for persons who can prove a vaccination (a sting) and additionally a PCR test
Validity 2G
- No longer accepted as “G” are antibody proofs that could be issued after the expiration of 6 months after a passed Corona infection to date
- Shortened validity of the vaccination (this regulation is valid from 06.12.2021, until then the 2nd stitch remains valid for 360 days):
- for vaccinations with two vaccination doses: validity for nine months after the 2nd, after which a third sting is required
- for Johnson & Johnson: a second sting is mandatory from 3 January (regardless of when the Johnson & Johnson vaccine dose was administered)

- FFP2 mask obligation everywhere where 2G does not apply.
- e.g. supermarket, pharmacies, in the whole trade, museums, libraries, …
Rules for children
- Covid proof required from the age of 12: vaccinated or recovered
- A Corona Test Pass (Ninja Pass – issued at Austrian schools) replaces the 2G proof (vaccinated or recovered) for school-age children and adolescents from 12 years of age (up to the completed 9th grade), throughout the week – i.e. also on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Prerequisite: The scheduled test intervals must be adhered to.
- The Holiday Ninja Pass will be an exemption to 2G proof for unvaccinated or under-vaccinated young people of school age (from 12 to 15 years) from Austria and abroad. The testing interval must still be maintained for the first 5 days. For this period of the first 5 days, the validity of the individual tests must be taken into account, rapid antigen test: 48 hours, PCR tests: 72 hours. During these 5 days, valid test evidence must be continuously available in order to be accepted for the Holiday Ninja Pass. The 7-day period starts from the day of the first test, but a negative test result is required for actual entry as 2G proof. All info on the Holiday Ninja Pass.
- For children who are not from Austria, the following applies: If they can consistently demonstrate negative tests (of which at least 2 are PCR tests) during a calendar week, then this replaces a 2G proof. Thus, there must not be a day without a negative test result.
- Compulsory school attendance in this sense means: all children from the age of 12 (from the 12th birthday) who were born on or after 02.09.2006.
